Hi gems,

 I indulged in my first ever online purchase which happened to be on Black Friday. Honestly, I've always been a little skeptical about online purchases. The one thing that deters me from online shopping is con men / women. You end up spending some money on a website, pay up and then wait forever till the goods never come and then you realise that it was simply a hoax.

Anyways, after my first ever purchase from jumia kenya, it's safe to say that i'm 50% over that hurdle. The other 50% I will have to experience it with an international website and see the outcome. If you have any suggestion of good international online websites, let me know in the comments below.

Hey loves, It's practically summer out here so I thought I'd share one of my latest summer wear obsessions. Now that it is literally so hot and the only thing you want to wear is something not too tight and airy, the shirt dress is perfect for this type of weather.  If you are more on the conservative type, you can always find a longer shirt dress which looks great on most body shapes. One style tip that I'd love to give is that do your research before splurging on any clothing item. This saves you some money and also you get to buy something that you love, looks right on you and that you can wear for a long time. xx
